Moeller- Harbaugh-Beckham Jr. Reunion May Be On The Horizon

April 3, 2026 by Jeff Moeller Leave a Comment

After much anticipation, the John Harbaugh Giants’ era will soon begin.

Harbaugh added modestly in the offseason, and he is optimistic to revive a 4-13 team with its current allotment, mainly with its defense.

But could a controversial figure from their past make a triumphant return?

The G-Men will begin offseason workouts April 7, and their first veterans mini-camp will be held April 21. Their OTAs will start in mid-May.

New York bolstered its wide receiver position by re-signing veteran Isaiah Hodgins and they added Darnell Mooney and Calvin Austin III to the stable.

Could the Giants use Odell Beckham Jr? Tread softly, coach.

Beckham Jr. has suddenly surfaced again after his play in a flag football game, and his desire to get back into the game after a year hiatus.

He has maintained a good relationship with Harbaugh since his one-year stay with Baltimore in 2023 when Beckham Jr. caught 35 balls for 565 yards and three touchdowns. He couldn’t work out an extension with the Ravens after the season after he inked a one-year, $15 million deal.

Beckham Jr.’s off-the-field distractions and behavior basically forced the Giants to pull the trigger and deal him in 2019.  He caught 340 passes for 5,476 yards and 44 touchdowns in his five-year career in the Meadowlands. However, Beckham Jr.’s career never was the same since his Jersey days.

Now, Beckham Jr. is pushing to get back to the place that launched his career and filled plenty of highlight reels.

At 33, Beckham Jr. still could be an effective weapon, and he wouldn’t have to be a headliner with rising star Malik Nabors and veteran Darius Slayton.

With his year with the Rams in 2021, Beckham Jr. finally got his Super Bowl ring, and he showed the maturity the Giants longed for. He caught 21 passes for 305 yards with five touchdowns, and he fit in perfectly in their rotation. Last season, Beckham played only nine games with the Dolphins before he was injured, but he never quite fit in their rotation.

The Giants believe Harbaugh has the golden touch, and all has been harmonious so far in G-Man Land. Expectations are sky high, especially for Jaxson Dart expected to take some more steps forward.

With Beckham Jr. banging on the Giants’ door to get back in the league, Harbaugh may be faced with his biggest move yet on whether or not to bring the controversial wide receiver back.
